Why we prefer neutral colours

At Trove Interiors, we choose to design with a range of neutral colours, not because we lack courage to work with brighter and bolder hues, but because we want to evoke ease and calmness in our spaces.

We believe tranquility comes more easily through muted colours although others may feel under stimulated by this.

However, that might be the very point. The modern world is full of stimulation so by designing in a way that doesn’t demand all of your attention, we believe you can truly rest and unwind.c

Our take on neutrals doesn’t just include variations of whites, creams and beiges, although those are still conducive to beautifully layered and textural decor. We also like to use colours that are readily available in nature as we see these as having the similar effect. Therefore, you are likely to find lots of blues and greens in our designs which is a gorgeous way to add a fun layer to the space without compromising the calming balance.
